Shodr Children’s Hospital, a not-for-profit organization operating under section 501c3, has been committed to creating a healthy and hopeful Montana through specialized mental health care for children and adolescents along with a nationally recognized genetics program providing services to all ages. Our mission is To heal, help, and inspire hope. We serve over 99 of our patients from Montana, ensuring no family worries about the cost of their loved one's treatment.
Our Genetic Program offers comprehensive care for genetic conditions in Butte and Helena. A team comprised of a medical geneticist and a genetic counselor delivers services including diagnostic evaluations, care coordination, and risk assessments to children and adults with genetic disorders.
At Shodr Children’s Hospital, we continue to expand our services med at addressing emotional, mental, and behavioral issues among children and adolescents in Montana. Our acute unit provides inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents needing intensive treatment, while two dedicated units cater specifically to their age groups - a children's unit and adolescent units.
Our outpatient services feature a team of professionals such as child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, and licensed therapists who specialize in mental health, speech, and occupational therapy for children and families.
