The JBI Collaboration JBIC, founded since 1996, is an extensive global network med at fostering evidence-based decisions at the point of care. This network connects academic entities with hospitals and healthcare systems worldwide through collaborative initiatives that focus on synthesizing, transferring, and implementing high-quality evidence to improve healthcare quality and outcomes globally.
The JBI Collaboration has expanded from a small group of seven Centers into an inclusive alliance comprising over 85 Collaborating Entities in more than 40 countries. The network is structured around two core components: the JBI Centres of Excellence and JBI Affiliated Groups, united by their mission to contribute to healthcare improvements through evidence-based programs.
The function of the JBI Collaboration includes a range of activities that cater to the knowledge needs of local clinicians and consumers. Each member entity leads regional efforts in synthesizing evidence, transferring it into practice, and implementing evidence-informed changes across diverse contexts including hospitals, health systems, and specialized fields.
