Fullerton Health China Expands Footprint in Chinese Healthcare Market through Investment in Redleaf Hospital

SINGAPORE, October 25th, 2018 - Fullerton Healthcare Corporation Limited Fullerton Health, a leading vertically integrated healthcare provider across the Asia Pacific region, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Fullerton China, has successfully completed an equity investment of RMB300 million in Shangh Redleaf International Women's Children's Hospital Redleaf Hospital. This marks Fullerton China’s first foray into the specialty hospitals sector and strengthens Fullerton Health's commitment towards expanding in China.

This strategic investment showcases Fullerton Health's dedication to China's robust healthcare market, following its acquisition of Jiangsu Kangruijia Medical Investment Management Co., Ltd Global Doctor earlier this year. Global Doctor operates a successful network of eighteen primary care clinics throughout the country.

With the new injection of capital from Fullerton China, Redleaf Hospital is poised for significant expansion and development into a multi-specialty hospital that offers services beyond pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology. This includes specialties like orthopedics and ophthalmology. The plan revamp the existing hospital infrastructure and expects to unveil an upgraded facility by 2019's .

Moreover, Fullerton China and Redleaf Hospital are also planning to collaborate in establishing a chn of primary care clinics worth RMB200 million in Shangh. By utilizing Fullerton Health's expertise in healthcare operations and management, these clinics will provide essential services like general practice consultations, specialist outpatient care, health screenings, among others - all in line with China’s strategy for building an efficient multi-tiered healthcare system.
