Later on, it moves to Middle English period starting from the 12th century until the late 14th century when William the Conqueror introduced French into English, which affected words like 'right' originally meaning 'righ'.

Then comes modern English where new words and pronunciations have emerged due to influences from multiple languages, such as Spanish, German, Greek, and Italian. culminates with contemporary English that's influenced by global media, technology, and globalization making the language more diverse and dynamic than ever before.
