As part of the Division of Gynecologic Specialties, our faculty-physicians in Pediatric Gynecology are dedicated to pioneering reproductive health care for the youngest patients through a bl of unparalleled medical expertise and innovative practices.
Our team is led by Dr. Nancy Sokkary, an Associate Professor of both Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine as well as Pediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she serves as the Division Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology since January 2021.
Dr. Sokkary is a board-certified expert in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a specialized practice in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Her career has been marked by establishing and directing programs that have significantly contributed to patient care, clinical services, educational initiatives, research protocols, and protocol development. She leads collaborative networks for the treatment of disorders of sexual differentiation and transger adolescent health.
Her contributions are not limited to medical expertise; she is also highly committed to education and mentorship, serving as a key figure in trning future healthcare professionals through Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs.
In her role at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Sokkary has facilitated groundbreaking advancements and established comprehensive patient care protocols that have improved reproductive health outcomes for children.

Our Pediatric Gynecology team works closely with specialists from various departments within Children's Healthcare of Atlanta including General Surgery, Urology, HematologyOncology, ocrinology, Reproductive ocrinology, Pelvic and Anorectal Malformations, and Pn Management. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that each child receives comprehensive and coordinated care tlored to their specific needs.
