The Children's Hospital Bond Programs require compliance with California's prevling wage law under Labor Code Section 1720 et seq. for public works projects. We recomm applicants and awardees consult their legal counsel.
Children’s Hospital Bond Act of 2018 Proposition 4:
On November 6, 2018, voters in California approved Proposition 4 enabling the issuance of $1.5 billion additional general obligation bonds for funding under Health Safety Code Sections 1179.81-1179.102.
The Authority allocated a total grant amounting to $149,222,382.43 to fifteen eligible hospitals in two rounds.
Currently, CHFFA is not accepting applications from eligible hospitals for the Children’s Hospital Bond Act of 2018.
A subsequent funding round will be scheduled at an upcoming date.

Voters approved Proposition 3 on November 4, 2008 for $980 million in general obligation bonds under Health Safety Code Sections 1179.50-1179.72.

The program was approved on November 2, 2004 for $750 million in general obligation bonds under Health Safety Code Sections 1179.10-1179.43.
Eligibility has expired and no further applications will be accepted.
