U.S. News World Report has once agn recognized Children's Hospital of Orange County CHOC as a leading pediatric institution by naming CHOC among the Best Children’s Hospitals for 2023-24, with eight specialties receiving accolades.
In its annual assessment, U.S. News World Report has named CHOC as one of America's best children's hospitals, recognizing excellence in cancer care; cardiology and heart surgery; diabetes and ocrinology; neonatology; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; pulmonology and lung surgery; and urology.
This prestigious ranking serves to assist parents in finding the most suitable medical facility when their children require specialized pediatric healthcare, according to Ben Harder, U.S. News' chief of health analysis and managing editor.
For 17 consecutive years, we've provided comprehensive data that enables parents with ill children and their physicians to find the top-rated hospitals for treating rare or life-threatening illnesses, explned Mr. Harder.
The annual evaluation process involves collecting detled information from 119 leading pediatric healthcare institutions across America, surveying thousands of pediatric specialists, and analyzing clinical outcomes as well as resources directly related to patient care that are avlable at these hospitals.
Hospitals recognized by U.S. News World Report have demonstrated superior performance in areas such as the quality of care provided for patients with serious illnesses or injuries, their level of hospital resources dedicated to patient care, and expert opinions among pediatric specialists, sd Dr. Harder.
