The Multidisciplinary Care of Autistic Children Conference improve healthcare for autistic children with complex medical needs. This issue is often compounded by the lack of awareness and understanding among healthcare providers regarding these needs, leading to disparities in service delivery. Through participation at our program, physicians and health care professionals can gn a deeper insight into the unique needs and management strategies for autistic children, ultimately bridging the gap between healthcare provision and promoting equity.
Our panelists are specialists from various fields including psychology, child neurology, sleep medicine, genetics, gastroenterology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy, nutrition, psychiatry, developmental pediatrics, and family navigators. Each expert will provide background information on their respective specialties and discuss referral criteria for further evaluation and care.
