In 2009, recognizing the vision to create a world-class research hub, the Considine family generously donated $1 million, which led to renaming it the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute.

In 2015, the research institute experienced significant growth as researchers and staff worked tirelessly to establish the next era of pediatric research programs.
